Informatica 8.6 Services Set up 3

Creating Repository Services
Run the Informatica services.
Logon to Administration Console
On domain tab, click on Create

Mention Rep service name, select node, database as oracle,
Provide connect string (orcl), DB user and DB password.
Click on Create new repository content and click on create as global repository
This will create default tables in the Informatica.

After creating the tables, it will provide the status as “Action Status for Create Contents: Succeeded”

Creating integration Services
Logon to Administration Console
On domain tab, click on Create “Integration Services”
Provide the Integration service name, select node and select associated repository services.

Provide Repository user name and password, select Unicode in data movement mode.

click on OK


Repository and Integration services are running.

Creating repository Folder
Go to client and click on Repository Manager
Click on Repository – Add Repository
Provide repository and name
Right click on the repository create and click on connect.
Provide the domain name, gateway name and port number.
